How to record with BMSDock

BMSDock gathers readings from connected sources during a ride. Follow this overview from preparation to opening a recorded file.

Images are replaceable placeholders. Verify exact steps against the installed application or firmware before publishing.

Prepare your device

Check power, connected sources and available storage. Logged values depend on your particular configuration.

Check connected data sources

Verify that the BMS and GPS, if used, are reporting values. A GPS source adds the route, while battery telemetry can be independent.

Troubleshooting

No route on map

Check whether your file contains GPS coordinates. Speed and route data are not the same thing.

File will not open

Confirm recording was completed and that the exported file contains actual supported data.
